Artist Reception

Gina Cariello is a local artist from Riverhead, whose first love of art started with the camera and not the paintbrush, but evolved into the love of all art forms. Movement and texture are the basis for her artwork, using non-traditional ways to explore the use of paint and movement of paint to create an esthetic piece of artwork. Strong brush strokes, pouring of paint, and painting with palette knives are just some techniques used in her work. Her body of work is all about the exploration of abstraction. An Artist Reception will be held on Sunday, March 3 from 2:00PM-4:00PM in the Helen Gould Room.
