October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Edna Kapenhas, who leads the breast surgery and breast surgical oncology program at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, and who is also the Medical Director of the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center, will speak about the risk factors, warning signs, and treatment options that are available to patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
