Program Description

Event Details

In 1932 and again in 1962, urban planner Robert Moses attempted to pave the unspoiled and tranquil shorelines of Fire Island, which led to the creation of the Fire Island National Seashore. (He still got a causeway named after him, though.) An East End Libraries Event hosted by Westhampton Free Library.
