“East End Perspective” Oil Painting Series by John Melillo, a Contemporary Realistic Oil Painter who is now retired, grew up on the East End of Long Island and is an avid fisherman. A disabled Vietnam Veteran who finds solace through contemporary realistic oil painting of his heritage, John’s art is geared toward detail and storytelling. His realistic presentation, though definitive, enables the viewer to create his or her own narrative. An Artist Reception will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 2:00PM-4:00PM in the Helen Gould Room.
