Event Details

First published on April 10, 1925, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby had generally favorable reviews but disappointing sales. Then the distribution of the novel to American soldiers during WWII launched a re-evaluation, propelling it into the ranks of American classic novels, and onto more than a few high school reading lists. Join us for a new look at life - and lovelife -  Jay Gatsby of West Egg! An East End Libraries Event hosted by Westhampton Free Library.
